LG starts rolling out Android 5.0 for Play-edition G Pad 8.3

LG has started rolling out Android 5.0 for its G Pad 8.3 tablet. Several users have reported that the software has arrived. It is the version of the G Pad 8.3 which is sold via the Play Store and runs on an unmodified version of Android.

The update, LG is one of the first Android 5.0 update rolling out for one of his devices. It seems only to the G Pad 8.3, other tablets of the Korean company seem to not get the update. The conscious software update is sent over-the-air; the phased roll ensures that the update is not at the same time everyone inside.

Only the G Pad 8.3 which is sold via Google Play Store now appears to get the update. Because this requires a maladaptive version of Android running fewer adjustments and updates can be deployed faster.

The G Pad 8.3 is one of the first Androids, in addition to the Nexus devices, which is provided with Android 5.0. Moreover, the manufacturer began recently even with the rollout of Android 5.0 for the G3 smartphone. In the Netherlands, the update is not yet available. Google Play edition of the G Pad 8.3 is also not sold in the Netherlands. It is plausible that the update soon appear for the version with LG software, which also runs on the example G3.
