LG unveils line OLED UHDTV with support for HDR

LG introduces eight new UHDTV with OLED panels and support the display of HDR, including the G6 and the E6. The G6 comes in versions with 77 “- 65” -schermdiagonalen and E6 will screen sizes of 65 “and 55”.

According to LG supports the new TV line HDR formats like HDR10, or the ST 2086 SMPTE standard, and Dolby Vision. Thanks to OLED panels can display LG high dynamic range-visual material that dimming at pixel level can occur. This should be the difference between light and dark areas in scenes from movies make more precise expression, so there is a very high local contrast.

The TVs support the display of the Rec. 2020 -kleurenstandaard and then also contain a 10bits panel.
