LinkedIn Announces The “Culture Of Happiness” Award

In Recognition Of The Region’s Most Successful Organizations LinkedIn, the largest professional network in the world, has recognized the success of companies in the Middle East and North Africa region in the acquisition of talent and employment by organizing the 2017 Middle East and North Africa Innovation Awards .

The company said it will launch a new award under the name of “Culture of Happiness ” in collaboration with the UAE’s National Happiness and Positive Program this year, offering the best-performing companies in the Middle East and North Africa based on three key elements of loyalty, engagement, LinkedIn platform data.

The UAE National Happiness and Positive Program , launched last year and inspired by the award, aims to make happiness and positive part of the daily work of the government, the private sector and lifestyle in the UAE community.

The program has witnessed the launch of several initiatives such as selecting and qualifying “executive heads of happiness and positive”. The program calls for the inclusion of happiness and positive in the policies, programs and services of all governmental and private bodies and the working environment.

“The happiness culture award from LinkedIn underscores the importance of finding happiness in the work we do and one of the best ways to do this is to get the job of dreams,” said Ali Matar, Head of Creative Solutions, LinkedIn MENA Growth Markets. This is in line with LinkedIn’s vision of creating economic opportunities for all members. We are honored today to cooperate with the National Program of Happiness and Positive through the Culture of Happiness Award. ”

The awards ceremony will be held for the third consecutive year on Wednesday 18 October at the Four Seasons Hotel Dubai to recognize the efforts and achievements of the region’s leading customers.

The awards are presented in different categories, such as the best recruiters through social media, the best talent acquisition team, the best sign for LinkedIn companies, the rising star of LinkedIn, the learning culture, and the most social executive, as well as the new “Culture of Happiness” award.
