The break that Linus Torvalds had put in for himself was over after a little more than a month. His temporary replacement transfers the overview on the development of the Linux kernel 4.19 back to Torvalds.

Torvalds will be present at the Open Source Summit Europe in Scotland to consult with Linux developers and has recovered the overview on the Linux 4.19 development from his temporary replacement Greg Kroah-Hartman. Torvalds himself has not yet informed about his return.

Slightly more than a month ago, Torvalds announced a pause and temporary distance from the development of Linux. Striking was that he apologized for his behavior in the past and indicated that he needed help for improvement. The Finnish-American Linux pioneer got it in the past regularly with co-developers and he is known not to take a leaf for it.
