Lionhead is working on non-Fable game

Developer Lionhead Studios has stated that it has nothing to do with the Fable franchise. Yet unannounced project development Meanwhile, the British studio also is working on Fable: Legends, that sometime in 2014 the beta test phase should reach.

Lionhead Studios Lionhead studio boss John Needham said in an interview with Eurogamer that established in the English town of Guildford studio is also working on projects that have nothing to do with Fable making. “We are primarily a Fable studio,” said the developer, “but we also make other games. We are working on a number of projects, which are not ‘Fable-esque’ are, which we are not able to say,” said Needham.

In the past, Lionhead, was then under the leadership of Peter Molyneux, even games outside the Fable franchise. Thus developed the studio for Electronic Arts Black & White, and was made for Activision management game The Movies. However, this last game came in 2005 on the market, and then made the British studio only games in the Fable franchise. In early February Fable appears: Anniversary for the Xbox 360. The studio also has Fable: Legends in development, which is displayed for Xbox One.

With his statements Needham confirms earlier rumors about the same topic. Last week came out that Lionhead was looking for a developer who would have to start working on Fable: Legends and yet unannounced project, which was described as an “exciting and ambitious from new project” by the studio itself.
