Lockheed Martin comes with spacecraft to ISS supply
Lockheed Martin has announced that it will participate in the future to supply missions to the International Space Station. To this end the company has developed a space capsule and a robot system that controls entry and exit.
The plans were on the website of Lockheed Martin unfolded . The company wants to send two new systems to the ISS: the Exoliner and Jupiter. That first one is a kind of space where cargo containers can be transported, such as food, parts or scientific equipment. Jupiter is a kind of support system and can help in connecting and disconnecting the Exoliner.
In space missions, both the Exoliner Jupiter launched by an Atlas V rocket. Once at the ISS, the two gripped by the robot arm from the station. The Exoliner is attached, and the stuff are unloaded by the astronauts while Jupiter remains around the ISS. Thereafter, the Exoliner can be filled with waste and helps the Jupiter when uncoupling.
