Logitech brings G502 HERO mouse with Hero 16K sensor in October for 90 euros

Logitech has announced the G502 HERO. It is a version of the G502 mouse, which is provided by the manufacturer with its High Efficiency Rated Optical 16K sensor and which has to be released in October.

Logitech launches the G502 HERO under its brand name Logitech G. As the name of the HERO 16K sensor already indicates, it is a sensor of 16.000dpi. In addition, these movements can register at a speed of four hundred inches per second.

The original G502, which Logitech introduced in 2014, had a 12,000dpi sensor with support for recording at three hundred inches per second. The HERO variant retains the housing of the G502. There are eleven buttons that can be programmed with the Logitech Gaming Software. In addition, there are five weights of 3.6 grams each. The mouse supports Logitech’s Lightsync RGB lighting and can store up to five profiles in its memory.

The swicht was developed mechanically and together with Omron. Logitech starts the sale as expected in October, for a suggested retail price of 90 euros. When the Logitech Pro Wireless announced last week, media reported that the Pro Gaming mouse would get an upgrade with the HERO 16K sensor, but the company reports nothing about it.
