Logitech makes Harmony api control automation




Logitech has released a Harmony API, allowing developers different home applications and media equipment can meet. With the API, developers can control through voice, gestures and installing motion.

Also makes the api ‘macros’ possible, allowing users with a gesture or voice command several actions at once can be performed, such as turning a movie while the lights dim. The API works including with If This Then That and the Myo-bracelet , but also with devices from Sonos and Google smart thermostat Nest.

Only developers can access the API, which is not publicly available. By making the API will be available on the Logitech automation equipment such as set-top boxes, TVs and connect speaker systems. Logitech makes itself the Harmony line of remotes.
