Plantronics logo Plantronics mainly makes headsets and other voice communication hardware for the business market, but also sells gaming headphones. The company has existed since 1961 and according to Reuters also delivered headsets to NASA, including the one that Neil Armstrong wore during his first walk on the lunar surface.

The sources of Reuters want to remain anonymous and emphasize that the deal is not yet complete and maybe also completely unravels. Plantronics would have been looking for a buyer for some time.
