LOTR: Shadow of Mordor used Assassin’s Creed II code




According to an animator who has worked on Assassin’s Creed II Lord of the Rings is: Shadow of Mordor using code from action game Assassin’s Creed II. That would be remarkable, because there seem to be no connection between the games from Warner Bros.. and Ubisoft.

Canadian animator Charles Randall claims on Twitter that the new Lord of the Rings game from Warner Bros., Shadow of Mordor, using Assassin’s Creed II code. The graphic artist says he does not understand how that could be possible, but seems confident of his case. “I have two years to Assassin’s Creed II staring and I know it when I see it”, states the developer on Twitter. The man seems acclaim found at the still working for Ubisoft Eric Martel.

Randall saw in his eyes suspicious fragments pass in the video below, that Thursday by Warner Bros.. was released. It’s Randall in particular the air assassination which can be seen in the movie. Randall added that movement handedly to the first Assassin’s Creed game, after which other developers perfected the animation for the second game. According to Randall Shadow of Mordor uses the same code as Assassin’s Creed II.

In his tweets Randall indicates, moreover, that he has no problem with other developers use “his” code, but as long as his work is recognized. Ubisoft itself, Warner Bros. and development studio Monolith have not yet responded to the rumors about the game, which is in development for the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
