Makers ‘spiritual successor Shadow of the Colossus’ get enough money

The Kickstarter Project Prey for the Gods has reached its goal. Has pledged more than $ 300,000 and the campaign will run for ten days. The money is collected to make a game that does in terms of atmosphere reminiscent of Shadow of the Colossus.

The developers describe Prey for the Gods as an action-survival game set on a deserted island frozen. “To survive, you need the gods destroy what you believe in,” said the authors. According to him, the game combines gameplay of Shadow of the Colossus, Deus Ex, DayZ and Bloodborne. The game is made by No Matter Studios, which no previous games has to his name. The three developers say already working since 2014 to the game.

At the time of writing, over 8800 people have money pledged and the counter at more than $ 306,000. The collection ends on August 6 and whoever commits $ 15, the game on Steam will receive if the project goes according to plan. The creators in December 2017 hoping to launch the game. Besides a PC version should also versions for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will appear.

Shadow of the Colossus was published in 2006 for the PlayStation 2 and is very highly regarded by many gamers and critics.
