Video card manufacturers to announce the retail versions of the Nvidia GeForce GT 710 to. This card is built around a two-year-old Kepler GPU. The passively cooled cards which appear for example, could find their way into HTPC’s.

Without giving it much publicity seems Nvidia, the GT 710 for the retail market having released. It is a boarding card that Nvidia announced in March 2014 for system builders, but now also on the shelves. The card has an on the Kepler architecture-based and produced 28nm GK208 GPU.

The clock speed is 954MHz, there is a 64bit wide memory bus and there can be up to 2GB DDR3 addressed. The card is standard with HDMI, DVI-D and VGA equipped, but manufacturers make their own variations, for example, two DVI connectors. In addition there include full-height versions of the card, low-profile variants and dualslot- and single-slot models, both active and passive cooling.

Among other EVGA, MSI, Manli, Palit and Gigabyte have versions of the low-end card announced. The prices are likely to fall between 30 and 50 euros.
