Manufacturers deliver first Steam Machines in October




The first game systems Steam OS be October 16 to customers with a subscription delivered in November following the retail sales. The Steam and Steam Controller Link will be available in those months.

Valve is the pre-sale of the Steam Machines, the Controller and Link began Thursday and the company has indicated that some manufacturers, including Alienware, start retailing November 10th. A select group who ordered a system in advance, October 16 can expect delivery. Valve has just named American delivery dates and prices on the European launch is still unknown.

The first two manufacturers start selling its Alienware and CyberPower, writes Polygon. Other manufacturers, including possible Alternate, Gigabyte and Zotac, probably in the coming weeks with announcements. They announced their Steam Machines in January 2014, but some have since then deleting selected systems or bring Windows gaming system. Including Dell Alienware did this.

Valve has postponed an official release of its Linux-based Steam OS several times, partly because even tinkered with the Steam Controller . The Steam Link is a device with which games to other streaming devices in his home. Valve announced in March to this.
