MD introduces Radeon Pro WX cards with Polaris GPUs for workstations




AMD has announced three graphics cards for workstations that use the new Polaris architecture. The manufacturer affixes the WX 7100, 5100 and 4100 with the name Radeon Pro, which seems to replace the name FirePro.

The first three video cards with Polaris GPU for workstations are less powerful than the RX 480 . Thus, the WX 7100 a total of 2048 stream processors, while the RX 480 is 2304. That means the Polaris 10 GPU is not fully capitalized on the map. The WX 5100 Polaris has a 10-gpu, but fewer stream processors. The WX 4100 is based on Polaris 11, as the next RX 460 graphics card for gamers.
