Mecha game New Gundam Breaker comes to PC on September 25th

New Gundam Breaker is coming to Steam on September 25th. It is the first game from the Japanese Gundam franchise that has been released for the PC since Mobile Suit Gundam Online in 2012. The PlayStation 4 version was released on 22 June 2018 earlier this year.

Bandai Namco reports via its European website that the PC version will contain all PlayStation 4 updates that have been released so far. It was originally intended that both versions would be released on the same date, namely on 22 June. However, because Bandai Namco was not satisfied with the state of the PC version, PC Gamer decided to postpone the release until the summer.

New Gundam Breaker is an action game where players can build a Gunpla, a model of the iconic Gundam, according to their own design. The player must fight against those of others with his Gunpla. The loose parts of his opponents can use the player again for his own adjustments. The game has a single player experience mode and a three-to-three co-op mode.

The Gundam franchise has been around since 1979. It started as an animated series called Mobile Suit Gundam, in which a large-scale war between the Earth and space colonies is being fought in large, advanced robot suits. Since then, numerous comic books, video games and toy lines have been released that are based on the series and its spin-offs.
