“MegaFon” will pay 500 rubles in compensation for the cancellation of erroneous money from bank cards
Day of January 3 it became known that due to a technical error with bank cards 25,000 subscribers of “Megaphone” were written off the money. According to RBC, the operator decided to compensate users of the inconvenience caused due to incorrect operation of the automatic refill. Some subscribers in compensation has been credited to the account of an additional 500 rubles, which they can use to pay for telecommunications services.
The representative of “Megaphone” explained that compensation is charged only complained operator subscribers. However, one of its receiving, states that “MegaFon” he did not complain, but I got it “for old time’s sake” (previously he was an employee of the company).

It all started during the New Year’s Eve, when users began to complain that the operator permanently withdraws money from bank cards, “tied” to the mobile phone number. The company acknowledged the incident. The situation has touched all regions where “MegaFon”. Thus, in the North-West Federal District suffered 1,477 subscribers. On a total of erroneous debiting subscribers of “Megaphone” in question is unknown.
