Meizu announces Pro 6 smartphone on April 13 to
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu is going to announce on April 13 its new flagship. Meizu Pro 6 probably get a 5.7 “-oledscherm and Helio X25 SOC of Mediatek. That is a slightly faster version of the existing X20-SOC with ten cores.
The manufacturer made the launch date itself known in the Meizu community forum. Meizu’s CEO Huang Song, Weibo has a photo of the back of the device placed . There is no information given about the details, but according to rumors the Meizu Pro 6 will get a 5.7 “-oledscherm with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels.
Variants would come with 4 and 6GB RAM and 64 or 128GB of storage. The camera probably has a 21-megapixel sensor from Sony and the battery has a capacity of 3500mAh. The device runs on Android 6.0 with probably Meizu’s own skin.
In mid-March showed a presentation of the Meizu Mediatek will use the new Helio X25 soc. That chip has a total of ten cores, divided into three clusters. The two Cortex A72 cores running at 2.5GHz, 2.3GHz ot faster than the X20-soc. There are four A53 cores at 2.0GHz and four A53 cores at 1.4 GHz. Also, the Mali GPU T800MP4 the X25 slightly faster, with a clock speed of 850MHz instead of 780MHz.
For the Meizu Pro 5 used the manufacturer with an Exynos 7420-soc Samsung: the same chip as the Samsung Galaxy S6.
