Microsoft: 100 million Windows 8 times, 250 million times SkyDrive

After January (60 million), Microsoft has officially to Windows 8 no longer expressed licenses. Now you do it again and reported cracked 100 million licenses for the current operating system.
Microsoft: 100 million Windows 8 times, 250 million times SkyDrive

This number called now Head of Marketing Marketing Manager Tami Reller. This confirms that Microsoft has recently lost a little momentum, but Windows 8 is still at least about on par with Windows 7, if you look at the numbers of its predecessor after half a year.

This can then probably be considered already as a small success, it retains the declining number of the computers in mind. Here Microsoft has a lot of chances and carded the whole appearance of Windows on the left in favor of touchscreen devices. With increasing acceptance of Windows 8 – tablets and convertibles that could bring the company from Redmond back on track. Furthermore, the marketing boss announced that we can get the update Windows Blue by year end. More concretely, it was in this respect but not, so there was no information on the recently discussed changes that could bring with it the update.

But that’s not the only round number that you has for us. SkyDrive also expressed to be here and can even point to 250 million users. It is fair to add to this, it also gives the service already much longer. Since October we have here again also can add 50 million users, which is also related to the launch of Windows 8, and the implementation in Outlook.

Here Microsoft has clearly caught up ground against other cloud services, I personally have heard a lot lately praise from SkyDrive users or by people who recently became SkyDrive users. So congratulations to Microsoft for achieving these two milestones.
