Microsoft Announces Windows 8.1 on October 17
The new version includes the “start” button and a large number of additions and improvements
Microsoft announced Thursday that it will launch Windows Update 8.1 on 17 October. She said that the final version of the new operating system will access as a free update for users in New Zealand by 12: 00 a.m., and users around the world to download the update that will be available to all progressive and install it from Microsoft Windows.
The company said that Windows Update 8.1 will be available as from October 18 in personal computers and the new tablet will be put on the market.
And Microsoft has launched a beta version of Windows 8.1 since last June, the new version offers a number of new features and improvements, notably to the “start” button which you missed Windows 8, and add an option to boot into desktop directly without passing the main start screen, improved search tool and many applications.
The number of recent studies and reports indicated that uptake of Windows 8 was less than expected, the latest study published by Net Applications reported that Windows 8 has widespread slowdown since its official launch in October last year.
