Microsoft does chatbots new features in Skype

Microsoft has added new options for bone cherry on Skype. Thus, it is possible to chat bots participate in group discussions and there may be visual maps are displayed for the provision of services such as reserving hotel rooms.

The new features are set put on the blog of Skype and seem to be intended primarily to allow multiple forms of interaction with chat bots. One of the most important new features, it is able to display of interactive, visual maps, which functions can be linked. Skype gives himself as an example showing a hotel, where the user can directly book a room with a push of a button.

Furthermore, it is now possible to also add bots in group discussions, and it is made possible to link external user accounts to the bone. Thus a company can offer via a chatbot services for example, verify the identity and payment information of the user. Finally, Microsoft claims that the bots are ‘natural language’ can understand.

Parent company Microsoft introduced chatbots late March, along with a development framework. So developers have the ability to develop bots using the SDK, APIs and workflows of the Skype Bots Platform . The new features are herein immediately available, so developers can enter them directly into their bots.

There are several companies working on chat bots for the provision of services. So Facebook is working with several companies offering their services via the messenger service.
