Microsoft introduces cheap Nokia 230 phone and Dual-SIM variant




Microsoft has announced a new phone under the Nokia banner. The Nokia 230 comes in December on the market in India, Asia and the Middle East. Fetches the unit 52 euros, excluding taxes and subsidies. In 2016 the cheap Nokia is coming to more markets.

Although Microsoft is Lumia phones with Windows Mobile for years now no longer sells Nokia, the company may still use the Nokia brand. Microsoft is the name for low-cost phones running Series 30+, software MediaTek used under license.

With the Nokia 230 and 230 Dual SIM, Microsoft has two new budget phones presented. The calls have a metal housing and feature a 2.8 “screen with 320×240 pixels. Both the front and the back is a 2 megapixel camera and both cameras have a flash.

It is possible to install apps from the Opera Store on the Nokia 230 devices. According to Microsoft, the budget phones are also suitable for games and user can download every month a free game from Gameloft. Users on the Internet with the Opera Mini browser and Bing Search. The phones can play MP3s and have an FM radio on board. The memory with a micro SD card to expand, it can be up to 32GB.
