Microsoft is working on iOS app that combines calendar contacts

Microsoft is working on a new app for iOS which calendar and contact list are combined. The app, called Revolve, the user displays additional information about persons who will be present at an event.

The new Revolve app is shown by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella Committee in a press conference. The application is to improve the productivity of iOS users through within an environment combining the calendar function of a smartphone or tablet with the contact list. So is retrieved from various sources about people who will be present at an event. What sources should be identified, in addition to the contact list, is not yet clear, but it is not inconceivable that, for example Microsoft’s Bing search engine is used.

When Revolve application for iOS is available, is not clear. There are also released any screenshots. A Microsoft spokesman late ZDNet know that the development of the tool is still in the initial phase and a release date is not yet known. Possible tool is also available on other platforms, such as Windows Phone and Android.

Microsoft focuses increasingly on software in their own words which should improve user productivity, including by making the applications ‘context sensitive’. As announced last month at the software company Sway, an Office application that allows photos, videos and text can be collected to this content automatically in an online presentation. The app works through the browser, as well as an application for smartphones. Microsoft also has an alternative lockscreen developed for Android mobiles.
