Microsoft: live translations in Skype Windows version now available everywhere
Microsoft has completed the update of the live translation feature in the program of Skype for Windows. The possibility of translation existed for some time, but had to be done through an external program, Skype Translator preview.
Skype Translator demo Microsoft in October was already started with the release of the update for Skype that would integrate the translation feature. In a message to the Skype team late now know that the update is available everywhere. The translation function allows Skype voice and text translate live. For speech, the function is still limited, it features seven languages including Chinese, English and Spanish.
For the text translation, the program has more features. According to Skype is currently more than fifty languages are supported, including Dutch. For both voice and text claiming to be the company engaged in implementing more languages. To use all the existing languages can be snapped in a Skype conversation on the globe that appears top right in the conversation window. Since then, the language can be set for each of the participants in the conversation.
