Microsoft officially launches video streaming service for Enterprise Stream

Microsoft today officially launched its streaming video service for Stream Stream , enabling companies to share videos internally with their employees. The video sharing tool similar to YouTube for business is now ready for major release after nearly a year. Submit it as an experimental preview.

One of the key new features to come with this version is Auto Copy and Face Search, a smart capability supported by Microsoft’s cloud platform. The service lets you upload, share, manage and discover videos securely in the workplace. The Office 365 package comes with 181 clients and 44 languages.

The new features are designed to help employees find the videos they need, according to Microsoft Group Program Manager Vishal Sud, and Stream makes it easy for people to add metadata like tags and extensions to videos.

Artificial Intelligence features make it easier to find videos without human intervention. In addition, the service also integrates with Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Yammer, OneNote, and SharePoint.

The launch is a step by the company to make video sharing and presentation easy for businesses like YouTube, companies are increasingly producing video content and Stream should help people find and watch that content without having to search for The road is difficult to navigate.

Microsoft announced the first stream service a year ago, and more than 100,000 users have since joined the service from more than 11,000 organizations. The company plans to transfer all Office 365 users to its new service by the end of this year.

The service is available to all customers with Office 365, Enterprise, Education and Kiosk, while the smart features of E5 customers are available.
