The Surface Hub-all-in-one computers with large screens will not be available from 1 January but later in the quarter and prices fall two thousand dollars higher than previously communicated by Microsoft. That makes the company announced.

The 55 “- Surface Hub is not 6999 dollars cost just $ 8999 and the 84” variant is for 21 999 instead of $ 19 999 available, Microsoft has to ZDnet know, without giving a reason. The prices charged by Microsoft in June for the Benelux communicated were 7869 euros for the 55 “model and 22 449 euros for the 84” -Hub. Tweakers has no confirmation whether and if so how to rise the euro prices.

Whose computers for the old prices already ordered, gets them to their original amounts, ZDnet writes. When the Surface Hubs in the first quarter of 2016 come on the market is not known. Initially, Microsoft talked about a release date in September, but that was in the autumn already shifted to January 1st.

The Surface Hub therefore seems more than a year to come out after the initial announcement. The Windows 10-based computers do include microphones and cameras to see users recognize and hear. And Microsoft provides them with a stylus, the Surface Hub automatically whiteboard service can do when picking up the stylus. The systems run special versions of OneNote, Skype for Business and Office.
