Microsoft has explained why it collects all kinds of device and use data in Windows 10. According to the company’s data is used to quickly deploy updates and personalization, but the information collected is not traceable to individuals.
In a blog post responded Microsoft’s claims of privacy violation that Windows 10 for some time befalls. The Redmond company wants to emphasize that the collection of usage data is intended to improve the operating system, and users at all times to keep control over what is actually collected.
Specifically, Microsoft that only anonymous data is collected, including the device ID, the type of device used and crash data if something is not working. With this data available Microsoft wants to quickly roll out software updates.
