Microsoft shows consumer version Windows 10 on January 21




Microsoft keeps on January 21, an event in which the Windows 10 will propose to the general public. The intention is that Microsoft can give information about the consumer version of the new operating system, which probably comes out in the fall of next year.

The Redmond company has sent an invitation to several American media, as reported include Zdnet. During the event on January 21, it talks about the consumer version of Windows 10, as confirmed by a spokesman for Microsoft. What features are displayed was not disclosed, but rather came in a video out of the speech and information service Cortana, who is already in Windows Phone.

According to sources from ZDnet during the meeting only the Metro interface of Windows 10 is shown. The desktop interface will not be present at the presentation. Besides showing the consumer features does Microsoft on January 21, probably with the January Technical Preview. This is a new, early version of Windows 10, which is intended for testers.

Earlier there were already rumors out that Microsoft in January would intend to show the consumer version of Windows 10. The company already came with a technical preview of its new operating system, but it is still not suitable for everyday use.
