Microsoft shows new Elite game controller for Xbox One and Windows 10




During its E3 keynote, Microsoft has announced a new controller for the Xbox One. The Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller includes trigger locks, interchangeable parts and is also useful in the upcoming Windows 10.

The wireless Xbox Elite One controller, according to Microsoft aims to “professional” gamers. By means of trigger locks the triggers can be fixedly put on the controller. The d-pad is adapted and its various components, including the joystick, interchangeable. At the bottom are four “paddle buttons’, also interchangeable, placed that can copy the function of normal buttons. This prevents the gamer must pick up his thumb from the joystick to press a button.

Microsoft claims that the player with the Elite Xbox One controller, heavier, more resistant, would be firmer than the regular controller, also can rearrange the buttons and a headphone jack located on the controller. Also, the controller can be used not only on the Xbox One, but also with Windows 10. The successor to Windows 8.1 to be released this summer.

When the new controller is available and how much it will cost, it is not yet known.
