Microsoft starts Insider testing for keyboard and mouse support Xbox One

Microsoft has begun testing keyboard and mouse support for the Xbox One. Insiders of the Xbox One Preview Alpha Ring receive the support first, in November the broad availability follows.

The support is part of the 1811 system update that has appeared for the Alpha Ring of Insider users. Microsoft reports that developers have the option to integrate mouse and keyboard support into their games. Warframe is the first game for the Xbox One with support for mouse and keyboard. During the X018 event on November 10, the company announces more games that will receive the integration.

The update introduces more functions, such as the expansion of the search engine and ‘experimental features’. The latter extension is initially for a limited group and is intended to generate ‘interest’ and to obtain feedback.
