Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Review – Not only superficial improvements

The Surface Pro 4 is a very good Windows tablet, with an excellent screen and good build quality. The stylus that is included standard quality is good, though we would have preferred a Type Cover came with the tablet. That’s a pretty pricey addition of one hundred and fifty euros. Another disappointment is the battery life, which with five and a half hours when browsing is moderate. The hardware is again quickly, so do not include the Surface tablet for most ultrabooks.

Excellent screen
Fast hardware
Prima stylus
Improved Type Cover

Moderate battery life
Expensive upgrades

The first Surface Pro tablet, which Microsoft released in 2012, we called in 2013 “Microsoft’s hardware ideal for Windows 8. Microsoft built both software and hardware and so both elements could be seamlessly integrated.

In the course of the years, however, radically changed his hardware and software. For example, been much on the start menu of Windows 8 and Windows RT, which by now is not further developed. The philosophy behind the hardware has changed since Microsoft was not satisfied with the aspect ratio of the first Surface tablets and made the screen from the Surface Pro 3 higher. In addition, Microsoft was using Atom processors for the successor of the Surface 2, which is still an ARM CPU was provided.
