Microsoft technology allows users with hands typing on virtual reality

Microsoft has demonstrated a technology that allows users to see and use their hands full in a VR environment. Thus, for example, typing in virtual reality may play on a qwerty keyboard or piano.

The technology that people have with Microsoft Research include researchers from Oxford and Cambridge developed , uses a depth sensor like about the Kinect for Xbox consoles. Which measures the exact finger and hand movements over 146 points on the hands.

By then the hands with a smooth surface to display in virtual reality, users should get the idea that they can really use hands Fri. This technology seems like a cross between a more precise version of what Microsoft is doing with Kinect for years, along with motion controllers Fri which include HTC and Oculus already showed the Vive and Rift .

In the video, Microsoft demonstrates how technology can be used for typing and playing the piano, but also as a way to control a spacecraft in a game by hand. Researchers from Microsoft will show more of the technology at Siggraph 2016 , which takes place in a month in the United States.
