Microsoft unveils next generation specification

Microsoft Corp. ( Nasdaq : MSFT) today unveiled Digital Foundry and Eurogamer, a gaming specialist, on the next generation of its gaming console, Xbox Xbox.

The US software giant, the next generation of the Xbox platform, launched the iconic Project Scoprio, which is expected to be released later this year.

The Project Scooprio features an eight-core 86x architecture with a 2.3 GHz processor and a GPU graphics module of 40 dedicated 1,172 GHz modules.

The platform also offers GDDR5 RAM with a 12 GB bandwidth with a 326GB / s memory package, 1 TB HDD and 4K UHD Blu-ray drive -ray.

With this specification, the next generation of the Xbox platform will not be better than the current generation, the Xbox, as it will outperform the new generation of PlayStation 4, the PlayStation 4 Pro, launched by Sony last year.

For comparison, the PlayStation 4 Pro offers 8 gigabytes of RAM, a packet width of 218 gigabits per second, and an eight-core processor at 2.1 GHz. In addition, Project Scooprio offers the same size as the internal storage disk.

Project Skoprio will be able to run 4K games with better performance than the Xbox One platform.
