Microsoft wants Office 16 in second half 2015 release




Microsoft wants its office software Office 16 in the second half of 2015 release. The company said during a conference. The version of Office for Android tablets should also come within weeks.

Microsoft Office 16 is now internally testing and aiming for a release in the last six months of 2015, though Microsoft gives no exact date or even month, writes ZDNet. The plan comes as no surprise: it was already clear earlier that Office should be 16 next year and it is also obvious, because the previous version was released in October 2012 and Microsoft usually comes with a new version every few years.

There is still little known new features or design changes to the next version of Office, but would in any case a dark color in it and as an assistant Clippy was in earlier versions of Office. The first version of Office that is now ready for release, according to sources from ZDNet that Android tablets: Microsoft would release next month; a version for iPad was already out.
