Microsoft warns of counterfeit software in Germany and Austria

Microsoft warns of bogus software currently in Germany and Austria, are affected Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010 Product Key Cards. Having discovered in August last year, a series of counterfeit Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010 Product Key Cards in the German and Austrian market early and thousands of products could be removed from the market, are now faced with new warnings. A new series of forgeries in circulation – this time with other forgery features.

Features that are visible from the outside without having to rid the Product Key Cards from the film:

– On the back of the umlaut dots are in gray text box under “COMPARISON OF THE PURCHASE OPTIONS” for “disk contain” slipped over the “a” and barely recognizable. The “รค” therefore looks more like an “a”.

– The Certificate of Authenticity Certificate of Authenticity (in short: COA) is printed in the wrong format. It lacks the dashes.

Other features:

– In the Product Key label of the security strip is hardly or not or difficult to see.
– On the Product Key label, several printing errors, eg “Labeie” are rather than labels.
