Microsoft will recall cords Surface Pro Due to Fire Hazard

Power cords of the Microsoft Surface Pro, Surface and Surface Pro 2 Pro 3 can overheat if they are frequently bent or folded tightly. Microsoft will offer a replacement cable because of the potential fire hazard.

Microsoft has not yet announced the recall, but the Channelnomics website is the thrust of the statement, Microsoft probably will release Friday, brought out.
