Microsoft Xbox One S Preview – A look at the new hardware
Microsoft had a surprise in store during the press conference which it held on the eve of E3. The American superpower presented a new version of Xbox One and announced simultaneously yet another variant of the console. The first will appear Xbox One S, a smaller version of the current Xbox One. The One S is 40 percent smaller than the One, which means that it fits into the old in its entirety. A big advantage of the One S; the power supply is built in, as with the PlayStation.
Under the hood, it is even better, because the One S has an additional chip on board which ensures that the new console 4k-image-material is capable of playing, both of the built-in player as an external media or the Internet. Precisely that chip also allows that games look better on the One S, because the chip can handle HDR, something that is not only used in video but also in games. If developers make use HDR, games will be on the One S to look better than the One.
In the video we will concentrate on the controller, where the two game editors have made its acquaintance. The controller looks like the old, but there are small differences. Thus, the shoulder buttons appear to be something different and seem to be the two thumbsticks slightly smaller. Both gevalen, that is not so. It is mainly the material of the controller is different and the controller gives a different feeling. More importantly, the controller has a longer range and is equipped with Bluetooth so that it can be mated to a PC or laptop.
Finally, we discuss the video briefly on Project Scorpio, the new and more powerful version of the Xbox One announced by Microsoft.Viewing:-69
