Migration to another platform caused interference at Mobile Vikings

The disruption that some customers of the Belgian provider Mobile Vikings reached on Thursday has to do with teething problems when switching to the ‘full MVNO’ platform. The difficulties would have been solved in the meantime.

“The cause lies in the transition from light mvno to full mvno, and it is the teething problems that are likely to get out of there soon”, said Medialaan spokesperson Sara Vercauteren in front of the Belgian ICT magazine Data News . The problems would be separate from the difficulties that occurred last summer. After a system update on 24 June, complaints were received from customers about incorrectly communicated reports that data bundles had been used up, not being able to switch rates and missing options for overviews on the site, such as invoices that are not visible.

On Twitter , the dissatisfied responses from Mobile Vikings customers to the new outburst are out of the question. People complain about the fact that they could not use Waze or had no reach at all. To help victims get out of the fire faster, the number of helpdesk employees doubled after the previous incident, Vercauteren spokesperson told Data News.
