Find a Question:
Minecraft for PS3 sells a million times in a short time
A little over a month after the PS3 port of Minecraft is released, the game sold more than one million times. That’s a lot for a title that is not supplied on a physical disk, but only as a download for purchase.
The number of one million games sold, Friday announced by Mojang, the publisher and developer of Minecraft, and comes five weeks after the PS3 version was released. That’s a game that only in such a short period as is often downloaded through the online store of the PlayStation is exceptional. Minecraft, originally a PC game, was already out for Android, iOS and the Xbox 360.
Mojang promises a number of improvements in the PS3 version of the sandbox game, in which the aim is to build structures with cubical blocks to be mined first. What kind of improvements it is, is not known.
