Minister wants to make it easier Belgians switch between digital TV providers




The Belgian Minister for Digital Agenda Alexander De Croo wants a new law making it easier to switch to another provider of digital television. Meanwhile, Mobistar started to let users test its cable offerings.

Secretary of Digital Agenda wants to capture in the new legislation that if a customer changes the new entrant is responsible for all the administrative tasks. This must change easier. Such rules already apply to providers of mobile telephony.
