Montblanc introduces wearable for coupling with a normal watch
Mont Blanc has a wearable announced that can be attached to a conventional watch, and then can make different measurements. It is the so-called e-Strap that can connect via bluetooth 4.0 with a smartphone.
Montblanc sells all sorts of products. The new e-Strap is a wearable that is incorporated into the teaching of the watch band and as a normal watch can be confirmed, so writes a Blog to Watch. It uses an OLED touchscreen of 0.9 inches with a resolution of 128×36 pixels. The e-Strap is via Bluetooth connection with a smartphone. The device reportedly has a battery life of five days and charging is via a micro USB port.
The e-Strap can display different notifications, such as calls, emails and calendar items, as well as the wearable is equipped with a pedometer and an accelerometer. The collected data can be displayed on an iPhone or Android app. It is also possible to partially control the music player and the camera of the smartphone with the e-Strap. The wearable can further vibrate.
