Motorola announces Moto G Turbo Edition in Mexico




Motorola has announced in Mexico the Moto G Turbo Edition. The main difference with the regular-2015 version of the Moto G is the presence of a more powerful Snapdragon: instead of the Snapdragon 410 has the model of the Snapdragon 615.

On paper, the new version of the Moto G therefore a lot faster: the Snapdragon 410 is a quad-core with clock speed of 1.4 GHz, while the 615 is a octacore which run four cores at 1.7GHz. The powerful GPU, the Adreno 410, the 306, the 615 Adreno 405.

The housing of the Turbo Edition is otherwise identical to those of the regular Moto G. The other specifications also agree. The Moto G Turbo Edition has 2GB RAM, 16GB storage memory, and a 5 “screen with resolution of 1280×720 pixels and Gorilla Glass 3-coating.

Motorola will start selling the device according UnoCero on November 13 in Mexico, for a price of 4699 pesos, converted 261 euros. Thus the device is more pricey than what the Moto G 2015 cost here. Whether and when the Turbo Edition comes to countries other than Mexico is not known. The Moto G is popular because of its good price-performance ratio.
