Motorola claims longer battery life for new Moto 360 smart watches




Motorola has announced the 2015 editions of the Moto 360. There comes a 42mm version for women, a 42mm edition for men and a larger 46mm watch. The company brings a Sports-edition. The smart watches would provide a longer battery life than its predecessor.

Motorola says the new Moto 360 especially want to offer more choice by himself apart by women, targeting women and fitness enthusiasts. The company says the design of the original Moto 360 “refined” to have the new version.

That first Moto 360 was only a 46mm cabinet, but the new will therefore be in a 42mm version for men and women and another 46mm version. In addition, buyers get a lot of customization options through Moto Maker to choose among different other bands, bezel colors and body colors.

The 42mm version has a 1.37 “LCD with resolution of 360×325 pixels, while the larger model has a 1.56” LCD, is with 360×325 pixels. The screen is also taking a larger share of the watch to complete, according to Motorola because the screen edges are thinner; the holding speaks even the thinnest of edges of a smart watch until now.

The processor is a Snapdragon 400 with clock speed of 1.2GHz and 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage. The smart watch is running android wear. Motorola claims to have improved the battery life and the company gives an indication of two days.

The Sports-edition is based on the 42mm-model and is fitted with a silicone band and GPS support. In addition, the screen would be more visible in sunlight than the LCD of the other models. Motorola says the grievous watch to Europe but now only mentions a starting price in British currency 229 pound converted 312 euros.
