Motorola Hint on European release Moto X
Motorola has suggested that a European release of his most expensive model Moto X is possible. The manufacturer, owned by Google, brought the smartphone in August in the United States, but in Europe he still did not come out.
Motorola ‘exploring opportunities’ for release of the Moto X in Europe, writes Pocket-Lint. “Watch this space,” said a marketing manager for Europe at the site. This Motorola hint at a European release of the smartphone, which mainly sells Motorola as adaptable phone. Users can design their own online with various colors for the front, back and accents. Soon there will probably wooden backs at as an option.
The manufacturer, owned by Google, made the statements at an event to mark the presentation of the Moto G , a cheap variant of the Moto X, which is certainly true in Europe and costs from 199 euro. Although Motorola reported this week that the device would already be on sale yet he seems only to be ordered from online stores.
The Moto X has a 4.7 “AMOLED screen, which is used by Motorola among others for the Active Notifications, which notifications are always on the screen. Moreover, the user can activate the phone, ‘OK, Google Now’ to say. For those two functions are separate chips present in the device. Additionally the phone detects whether the user is in the car and adjusts its functionality accordingly, making the device, for example, reads text messages.
The Moto X runs on a dual-core Snapdragon S4 soc Qualcomm with Adreno 320 GPU. The Moto X is now equipped with Android 4.2, but an update to 4.3 coming in the next few weeks. The release in the United States Moto X was as expensive as for example the iPhone 5s and Galaxy S4, but he has since dropped in price.
