Motorola Moto G 2015 Review – Big steps forward, baby steps back

The Moto G 2015, like its predecessors a great Android smartphone. The latest Android version and promise updates are fine for a device in its price range, while the 4G support and waterproof case are good additions. Yet there are strong positives. As Motorola has again opted for a storage of 8GB, which is for power users on the tight side. Moreover, the lack Dual-SIM capability, notificatieled and stereo speakers of the previous version of the Motorola Moto G. This puts both large steps forward and small steps back.

Motorola is the cat with nine lives of the smartphone market. The company where the technician worked in 1973 first in the world committed a mobile call, especially has an impressive history behind it. The StarTac is a legendary device from the nineties, but from the beginning of this century it went downhill fast.

In 2004 came the turning point, or maybe you better say a revival, with the Razr, the flimsy folding phone for the time. Then it went quickly back until Motorola in 2009 with great fanfare suddenly announced his comeback. The Droid, supported by a costly marketing campaign of US carrier Verizon, was the first successful Android phone.
