Motorola Moto G: Stop sale at Media Markt and Saturn due to power supply failure

The rightly acclaimed Motorola Moto G is currently not available any more – at least at Media Markt and Saturn. Our readers Konrad wrote to us and reported the following: “I wanted to buy yesterday for my girlfriend’s Moto G at Media Markt and Saturn. In both markets, I was told that there was a ban on sales of the current batch of Moto G’s (it is the markets an e-mail by Motorola before I was told). There were apparently installed defective components and the cell phone may explode, it was said, at least the staff of the Media’s market. Have you heard of it, or you can even dig deeper at Motorola? “.

Normally, when many retailers the Moto G is supplied without power supply, in case of enclosed at Saturn and Media Markt power supply so it can lead to problems with the power supply, Saturn and Media Markt take not only the power supply as such from the sale, but equal to the complete unit.

Should you have you may purchase in the last time one of the devices listed, then you should either not use the AC adapter, or ask at Media Markt and Saturn, how to proceed. Since only the power supply is concerned, your phone should not have in the service – this is the good news.
