Motorola Moto X Moto Magic always on voice control and Tech Demo Video

The Moto X is currently on everyone’s lips. Speculation and leaks have been quite an iPhone-esque features. With the Moto X Google wants Motorola to bring back again in the relevant field of manufacturers, mainly probably not alone having to leave the field to the manufacturer Samsung.

Motomagic! from kronikbudz on Vimeo .

So the video shows the already often speculated voice control, which allows to use the device without having to press a button. The magic words are, as we know it already from Google: “Ok, Motomagic” (it should probably be personalized), followed by what you want to call. In the video, it works pretty well. There is no waiting time, you can just start babbling.

But that’s not all. As was already known, the unit in terms of specifications is to settle in the middle class. 4.4-inch 720p screen, good camera and long battery life. Android Authority speaks of a battery with 2,100 mAh, which does not sound like much at first glance. However, this is after 4 hours of battery operation, of which 90 minutes running time display, even at 68%. That’s not a bad value.

That it is not always the fastest processors and largest displays arrives before Apple does for years. Rather, the interaction between hardware and software must be correct to ensure that the user of the device is satisfactory. Possible that Motorola targets precisely here. People who have already used the Moto X, talk about a good user experience, which is exactly of the one on what really matters. The device feels good externally and internally does what it should.

Whether the device will be suitable for power users must first be seen. Here, however, one should also remember that the power users represents only a very small part of the market again. If you want to sell equipment, you need a device for the masses. And specifications which are not matter as long as the devices do what they should.

For my part I think the Moto X, with each new piece of the puzzle that comes to light, more exciting. Be it the personalization options or Motomagic (which I would probably never use), everything somehow fits very well with each other to build the smartphone smartphones, which satisfies both the nerd, and Aunt Emma. What do you think?

Update of Caschy:

Meanwhile, the feature video of a Canadian provider is leaked , the device will come in August. This is the Moto X:
