Mountaineering Experience ‘Everest VR is released on Steam VR

Everest VR is released on Steam VR. According to the authors, it is not a game; users can experience parts of Mount Everest ascent into the application. Everest VR costs 22.99 euros and is temporarily off sale by ten percent.

According to the description on Steam Everest VR includes five iconic scenes. Which take place during the different phases of climbing the world’s highest peak. After users all scenes have been through a God Mode available, where the Himalayas to see from different points of view is. The creators want to further expand this mode overlays that display information about the area.

The ‘experience’ is optimized for HTC Vive and operates according to its creators the best in combination with Nvidia video cards. The application uses MultiRes and should therefore outperform the GTX 970 and newer. By implementing Nvidia-specific features is Everest VR less well optimized for AMD GPUs. According to the makers is at least a RX 480 is required to run the application. The developers say they work with AMD and Epic improvements.
