Mozilla has announced the launch of the Firefox Focus application for the Android operating system, continuing its efforts to provide users with more privacy options while browsing the Internet.

The Firefox, the developer of the popular Firefox browser, said Firefox, launched last November for IOS Mobile for Apple, is a free, fast and easy to use browser.

In a blog post, Mozilla said that, like the iPhone and iPad version, Firefox provides users of Android with the ability to surf the Internet without leaving any traces, especially when looking for sensitive information. It allows them to browse the web without tabs, menus, pop-ups , With the ability to remove and delete browsing sessions with a single click.

The new application allows users to have more control over the web experience on mobile devices, allowing them to control their privacy by allowing them to block many different types of codes that follow them on the web, such as those used for advertising, analytics, and social networking sites .

Firefox does not block the same “Private Browsing” tracking codes as the “Tracking Protection” feature available on Firefox for Windows, Mac, Linux and Android based on the Disconnect Block List.

This means that the application will not prevent those ads that do not follow the user. Disconnect is concerned with making Web browser extensions focused on blocking the tracking codes, which are open source, meaning that everyone can see its list.

The company added that the browser provides users with faster browsing, because the reason for the slow web pages on mobile devices is the technology used to track users, which prevents Firefox Fox by blocking the tracking codes.

Firefox Fox is not entirely new. It was launched on 8 December 2015 as an application to block ads on the iOS operating system, and was named “Fox by Firefox” Focus by Firefox.

The Android version of the Firefox application has the advantages of the iOS version, such as an ad tracking counter that shows the number of ads blocked per site, and the ability to disable the tracking block, for sites that rely primarily on tracking codes, which Blocking them can cause a problem loading your sites. And finally the Notifications feature that lets you delete your browsing history when the app is running in the background.

Users of the Android operating system can download the Firefox Fox browser from the Google Play store, and can also download it from the Store Store for iPhone and iPad
