Mozilla Firefox 22 for Mac, Windows, Linux and Android released + Portable Firefox 22

Mozilla has released version 22 of the browser on Tuesday Firefox officially released. One of the great innovations should include WebRTC enabled by default. WebRTC is an open standard for real-time communication (VoIP, chat and video telephony) within a browser. This can be done, for example, without plugins or additional programs via video chats across different browsers.

In an older video you can see a video telephony, in which the contact of a related service on the social API, such as Facebook, can be easily selected. In the conversation contents now be replaced very easily, right from the browser. As pictures, videos or websites can be simply dragged and dropped into the chat window and the opposite they are displayed directly in the browser.

Also local files can be easily transferred over this way, which makes sense in any case, so that everyone knows what you look you straight, without any links or just like to be sent. Also improved 3D gaming is now possible directly in the browser, Mozilla demonstrates this to the Unreal Engine 3:

The complete changelog with the other new features can be found here , the locally installed or portable Firefox you can update via the built-in feature, the portable Firefox 22 as a stand-alone version can be found as always at my site: Download Portable Firefox 22 – unzip and have fun!
