Mozilla Firefox brings to iPhone and iPad




Mozilla will release a version of its Firefox browser for Apple’s mobile operating system iOS. Earlier, the organization rejected a version for iPhone and iPad still going on, but Mozilla says iOS users can no longer ignore.

That’s why we’re going to bring Firefox iOS”, notes the release manager of Firefox, Lukas Blakk, on Twitter, on the basis of the proposals during the event.

Until now Mozilla kept the boat from a release of Firefox for iOS. Apple does not allow browsers in the App Store that are not based on Apple’s version of WebKit. Moreover, it should remain the default Safari browser on iPhones and iPads. Mozilla declined to make a Firefox version for iOS as long as Apple kept to these rules, but competitors like Chrome and Opera did come to Apple operating system.

Well spent Mozilla Firefox Home for synchronizing browser content to iOS, but the organization stopped in September with that app.
